The Rainforest Hideaway was a delightful and unique place to stay. The decoration of the hotel's general areas was charming and had a rustic feel that fit perfectly with the rainforest surroundings. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. Despite being nestled in the rainforest, the pathways were well maintained and easy to navigate, allowing me to explore and enjoy the beautiful scenery without any difficulties.

I would have loved to have more seating options around the hotel's common areas for senior guests to rest and relax.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! The unique cabins are nestled in the Daintree rainforest and offer an unparalleled rainforest experience. The large deck with the outdoor kitchen and shower is super cool, allowing you to cook and shower while surrounded by nature. The host is incredibly welcoming and even provided head torches for nighttime animal spotting. The walk around the property with its fascinating sculptures feels like stepping into another world. The spacious and comfortable bedroom ensures a great night's sleep. this place is a must for anyone seeking a true rainforest adventure.

Loved the unlimited cruises with the "Croc Pass"! Basic cooking facilities were perfect for outdoor lovers who still want comfort. Deep inside the lush rainforest, the cabin offered a real jungle experience surrounded by wildlife. Crocodile Express and Dan Irby's Mangrove Adventures were personal and informative. Snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef was a must-do. Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours allowed me to fly with the birds. The swivel seats were a refreshing change. Riding a horse in the rainforest was a unique experience. The tree-top platforms were exhilarating.

Oh, what didn't I like? It was all just perfect.

We had an amazing stay at Rainforest Hideaway, immersing ourselves in the beauty of the jungle. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring we had an unforgettable experience. The location was perfect, surrounded by lush rainforest where we encountered stunning wildlife like cassowaries just steps away from our backyard. The outdoor shower and composting toilet added to the eco-friendly vibe. Falling asleep to the soothing sounds of rain was magical, offering a much-needed escape from the busy modern world. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

    Strongly recommend this hotel.

Our family had an incredible time exploring the stunning beauty of Cape Tribulation on a classic 4WD tour. We were amazed by the picturesque creeks, and the stops along the way, like the Strangler Fig and Woobadda Creek, offered breathtaking sightseeing opportunities. The kids were thrilled to spot various plants and wildlife during the tour, adding an educational aspect to the adventure. It was the perfect way to immerse ourselves in the natural wonders of the rainforest.

My children wanted more family-friendly activities at the hotel, like a playground or organized kids' games.

The cabin at Rainforest Hideaway was just what I needed - cozy and surrounded by nature. The rainforest views from the back deck were breathtaking, and I loved having my morning coffee while soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The free Wi-Fi was a bonus for staying connected with my friends and family during my stay. it was the perfect retreat for an adventurous low-budget traveler like me.

The only thing I personally didn't enjoy was the limited free Wi-Fi. But hey, if you're looking to disconnect and fully immerse yourself in the rainforest, you might actually appreciate it.

The outdoor rainforest bathroom is a definite highlight, providing a truly immersive nature experience. Guests can also enjoy the local fruit feast breakfast and the helpful tips from the owners. Loved the Croc Pass! Unlimited cruises for 3 days, definitely saw enough moss-covered trees and murky waters. And the basic cooking facilities were great, I felt like a gourmet camping chef.

Oh, how I enjoyed the pleasure of sitting shoulder to shoulder on a bench seat. Just delightful.

The location of this place was incredible, right in the middle of the jungle! We loved being surrounded by nature and the rainforest walk on the property was a highlight. The accommodation itself was amazing, with a unique jungle experience. The open air bathroom was such a cool feature, showering while being surrounded by the rainforest was an unforgettable experience. , the breakfast provided was delicious, especially the fresh bread and exotic fruits.

There were a few negative aspects to our stay. being in the rainforest meant it was pretty dark and damp, which took some getting used to.

My stay at Rainforest Hideaway was absolutely incredible. The setting was truly spectacular, nestled in the heart of the rainforest with breathtaking views and abundant wildlife. Waking up every morning to the sounds of nature was a pure delight. The open air shower was a unique and refreshing experience, allowing me to feel at one with the forest. The cabins were simple yet had all the essentials, and the real value of this place lies in its natural surroundings. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing invaluable knowledge about the area. I also enjoyed exploring the trails around the property and admiring the beautiful sculptures. Despite the slightly thin mattresses, which took some time to get comfortable on, it wouldn't stop me from returning. I highly recommend Rainforest Hideaway for a truly memorable rainforest getaway.
